Summer Teen Wheel: 6 weeks Wednesday afternoons (Ages 13-18)

Summer Teen Wheel: 6 Wednesdays 1:00-3:00pm – 6/24/20-7/29/20

Learn the basics of throwing on a potter’s wheel in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Make functional cups, bowls and plates or planters that you can actually use or create amazing sculptures. Add beautiful colors to your pieces using underglaze. Carve through the bright colors to make unique designs and drawings. Working with clay is a wonderful mix of 3D and 2D art. It can be very organic, messy and wild or it can be very precise and detailed.
