Teen – Adult Pottery wheel I: 7 Weeks Tuesday 6:00pm-8:30pm

Level: Beginner

Learn the basics of throwing on a potter’s wheel in a fun and friendly atmosphere. No previous clay or art experience necessary. Class size is limited to ensure personal attention. All supplies are included. Students are encouraged to practice outside of class during open hours. Class can be taken multiple times.

Clay is an excellent stress reliever – come and get your hands messy!

Special Notes

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
  • Trim nails short and leave rings/watches at home
  •  Free Parking in back

Staff

  • Kelsey Koepke
    Kelsey Koepke has a Bachelor’s degree in art education from Concordia University Wisconsin, has a background working with students and adults with special needs, and is currently a high school art teacher. She has experience in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and ceramics. While in college, Kelsey also studied oil painting and art history in Florence, Italy. She loves to encourage creative thinking and blending different forms of art. Within her own ceramic work, Kelsey incorporates her love of drawing and painting by utilizing Mishima techniques and painting with underglaze.
