When Halloween tries to take over the 4th of July. Creepy Scary creatures will take over the clay studio. Bats, Skeletons, spiders, cauldrons. and bugs. Jack o lanterns and ghosts in summer! That’s just crazy right? Make a haunted house with mummies and monsters. Trick or treaters might dress up as bears and princesses. The holidays get all mixed up.
Animation Domination
Monday, July – Thursday July 18

Inspiration surrounds you when watching your favorite new movie filled with ninja fighting pandas, angry gorillas vs dinosaurs, or animated feelings like joy or jealousy Create sculptures and designs that you love. We create a Claymation stop motion video as a group and then share our videos! This is a new class, be sure to bring your ideas for characters and maybe some pictures to help with the details.
Kids Advance Ceramics Camp
Monday, July 22 – Thursday July 25
10:00 AM – Noon
Prerequisite: Must be a least 11 yrs old and have have taken a clay camp before. This is a special class for our returning students!! We will build on what you have learned in the past and teach you new advanced techniques. We will spend more time to make bigger more involved projects. You will also get one day to use the potter’s wheel. Class size will be limited to 15. The students who take this class will collectively choose the theme the first day.
Enchanted Forests

Like the start of any good story, it’s time to take a stroll into the mysterious enchanted forest where anything can happen. Create you’re own creature familiar to travel down the rabbit hole of creativity. Choose your path of heroic adventure with mythical beasts and monsters or one of whimsy and enchantment. Develop a mystical game to captivate your friends, small homes for fairy folk to live, or treasure fit for a dragon. The choice is yours but the time for adventure is now.

Curious Animals and Mischievous Pets
Monday, Aug 12 – Thursday Aug 15
10:00 AM – Noon
Sculpt your favorite wild animal, a pet you have or wished you had. You may even make up your own creature. Create a habitat for it to live in, toys to play with and food to eat. Create a food dish for your animal. Make a cup with an animal face, ears and a tail!
Lunch and Games
$20 M-Th Noon – 1pm
Registration for Lunch & games is required
for those staying the whole day.
Children must bring their own lunch and water bottle if attending both sessions. There will be fun activities and games during lunch. Weather permitting we may eat outside at the park located behind our building Ages 6-9 and 10-14

Join us for an afternoon of Art: We will enjoy a different art activity each day: Painting at the park like the great masters. Drawing with markers, inks and chalks. Fibers: Sew a monster or stuffed animal or puppet, weave a bookmark or bind your own sketch book, make bracelets. Bleach dye or Tie-dye a shirt we will provide. Be sure to wear old clothes you don’t mind getting paint or dye or bleach on. We will dye all cotton materials. If you have new white cotton socks, or other special item you may bring it. (We will provide t-shirts) Enjoy an afternoon being a weird silly artists and try our new materials and techniques in a fun relaxing class. Note: We will need your permission to walk to the park for the outdoor painting portion.
Teen Wheel
Ages 13-18 (Child must be 13 by the start of class)
Class will be 6 weeks on Wednesdays 1-3pm

Learn the basics of throwing on a potter’s wheel in a fun and friendly atmosphere. You will make mugs you can drink from and bowls you can use for cereal! Get creative and paint or carve a fun design. Add ears or a tail to turn a cup into a fox or turtle.
